“Why Become a Driving Instructor?
Being a driving instructor allows you to choose your own working hours to fit around your family or social commitments. You will be able to work full or part time in your local area – the choice is yours!
A driving instructor can expect to earn around £30,000 per annum with benefits including a fully maintained tuition vehicle.
In today’s fast moving society it is essential to be able to drive, indeed the majority of well paid jobs require the applicant to hold a full UK driving license. The average pupil will take around 45 hours of professional driving tuition therefore generating an increasing demand for driving instructors.
Once qualified as a Driving Instructor you will have a range of attractive career options available to you. In making your decision you will need to look at the potential earnings available which is based on the number of pupils you train, how much you charge minus the cost of your franchise fee and expenses i.e. petrol, insurance etc.
As a driving instructor you will be teaching someone a lifelong skill which will change the pupil’s life forever. Each day of your career will be different, interesting and you will gain the satisfaction of helping pupils to achieve their goal.
